In this session, Amy Marks, Autodesk’s Head of Industrialized Construction Strategy and Evangelism, will draw on some of her own experience and explore how some women find it difficult to be their authentic selves in the workplace and still follow corporate culture initiatives. Women have been taught ‘how to talk’ for too long and must walk the tightrope between being humble and courageous. But authenticity requires carving your own path and Amy will share her story of how she became a respected voice in a male dominated industry. Amy will inspire you to manage your own authenticity, manage your own potential vs. credential, and suggest tactics about asking and advocating for yourself and still being a team player.
